Based in Canada, Bob
Masse has been producing superior concert posters since the 1960's. While attending
art school in Vancouver, Masse began producing posters for folk acts in exchange
for free drinks, tickets, and the opportunity to meet the musicians.
As folk became folk-rock, and
Vancouver was visited by such bands as the Grateful Dead, The Doors, the Jefferson
Airplane and Steve Miller, Bob helped pioneer the emerging psychedelic art genre.
He was greatly influenced by the art and music scenes in Los Angeles and San Francisco
where he worked in the late 1960's producing posters and album covers. His work
from this time is highly sought after by collectors.
Bob recently moved his studio
to Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada, where he continues to produce
pieces for contemporary performers like the Smashing Pumpkins, Tori Amos, Alanis
Morissette and many more.
All posters are shipped in
a padded Priority Mail carton and are covered by our return
guarantee.
